Obituary of Guy F. Bucci

Guy F. Bucci, 88, of Hammonton passed away Thursday July 14, 2016 in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident. He was a longtime member of the Hammonton Exchange Club where he once served as President. He was a member of Hammonton High School Class of 1946. Mr. Bucci was an army veteran of the Korean War. He was a Sealtest milk distributor for 25 years. He loved working in his garden and took great pride and joy in the fruits of his labor. He enjoyed riding around on his tractors and plowing the neighborhood out when it snowed. His greatest joy was his grandchildren and their accomplishments. Mr. Bucci was predeceased by his parents, George A. and Stella Bucci and his brother Anthony S. "Buddy" Bucci. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Henrietta Bucci (nee Schairer); his daughter, Christine Ferrigno and her husband David; his son, Guy F. Bucci, Jr. and his wife Linda, his grandchildren, Lynn Bucci, Lauren Bucci, Guy P. Bucci, David Ferrigno and Lindsay Ferrigno; his brother John Bucci and his wife Maria of Richland; his sisters and brother in law, Miriam Bucci, Roberta Franchetti, Margie Walters, Louis & Judy Schairer, and Stanley Grillo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Tuesday July 19, 2016 10:00am in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery. Viewings will be held Monday evening 7:00pm - 9:00pm and again on Tuesday 8:30am- 9:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
