Obituary of James Robert Herrington

James R. Herrington, 67, of Hammonton passed away peacefully Thursday, October 20, 2016 with his loving wife at his side. Born in Atlantic City he was a lifelong South Jersey resident. He was a member of the Glass, Molders, Pottery, and Plastics Allied Workers Union. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the Marine Corp. Jim was a retired service operator for Lenox China. He was predeceased by his brother in law, James Doherty. Jim is survived by his wife, Rosemary Herrington (nee Clements); his sister in law, Patricia Doherty of Reading, MA; 8 nieces and nephews; 9 great nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 28, 2016, 1:30pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 11:30 am until 1:30pm. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist the family.
