Obituary of Wilfredo Torres

Wilfredo "El Judio" Torres, 76, of Hammonton passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017 in Cooper Hospital in Camden. Born in Villalba, PR he lived in Hammonton for over 57 years. He was the owner/operator of The Choris Bar in Hammonton. He was predeceased by his parents, Angel and Juanita Torres, his brothers, Juan Torres and Ruben Colon. Mr. Torres is survived by his wife, Gladys Torres (nee Pratts); his eight children, Wilfredo Torres, Ricardo Torres, Tina Julia, Ernest Aponte, Daniel Aponte, Jose Aponte, Marcos Aponte and Tina Ramos; his four brothers, Pedro Torres, Victor Torres, Osvaldo Torres, Ismael Torres; five sisters, Mariceli Colon, Bruni Torres, Mayra Torres, Carmen Torres; Lucy Torres; 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday Feb. 7, 2017 11:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:30am until 11:00am. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
