Charles Uriah Brown, 88, of Cedar Brook and formerly of Hammonton passed away on Friday in Innova Health and ReHab at Deptford. Born in Kingston, Jamaica he lived in the South Jersey area for many years. Mr. Brown owned and operated Charlie's Auto Body in Hammonton. He was a member of Leisure Travels Camping Club, AARP, the Winslow Twp. Senior Citizens, St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Hammonton, and he was a past President of the Auto Body Parts Association. He was predeceased by his previous wife Rose Ina Brown and his stepson Stephen Smith. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife: Bernice I. Carter-Brown of Cedar Brook; his daughter: Veronica C. Brown of Pleasantville, his son: Charles Jr. (Charlotte) of Maryland; his stepchildren: Christopher Smith (Cathy Dorsey) of W. Atco; Anthony Smith (Delores) of Philadelphia, Denise Todd-Dotson (Michael) of Pennsauken; Cathy Rabb of Millville, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Hammonton. Memorial donations maybe made to the Alzheimer's Association, 25 Dolphin Ave., Northfield, NJ 08225.
