Maxine L. Minor, 66 of Newtonville died Thursday at home. Born in Freeman, WV she was a longtime resident of Newtonville. Mrs. Minor had worked for Greenbriar Nursing Home and Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital both in Hammonton. She is survived by her husband, Abraham Slater, one son, William T. Goods, one daughter, Pamela Johnson and her husband Dennis, grandchildren, Belvyn and Shariff, great grandchild, Beijing, her mother, Elizabeth Woods, brothers, Vernon Minor, Dywane Woods, Michael Crouch, Melvin Crouch, sisters, Sonja Wheeler, Shelia Minor, Dina Bond, Betty Bryant and Barbara Randolph. A viewing will be held Saturday 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 468 Ninth Street in Newtonville, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist church Cemetery in Newtonville. Arrangements by the Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton.
