Obituary of Myron Joseph Lashley

Myron Joseph Lashley, 93, of Mays Landing passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Born in Minotola he was a lifelong area resident. He retired from the Absecon Post Office as Postmaster. He was a World War II veteran, where served in the Navy. Mr. Lashley was a former member of the Mays Landing Masonic Lodge and the Mays Landing VFW. He was a Deacon and longtime member of Grace Community Church in Waterford Works. Mr. Lashley was predeceased by his daughter, Rachel E. Diehl and his sister, Miriam Patterson. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Blanche E. Lashley (nee Long) his two sons, Paul Lashley and his wife Terri of Ocean View, NJ; Mark Lashley and his wife Jennifer of Syracuse, NY; five grandchildren, Sarah Freeman (Benjamin), Bethany Snyder (Doug Scott), Matthew, Katherine and Joseph Lashley; 5 great grandchildren, Paul, Alexis, Kelly, Benjamin, Jr. and Zarah. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018, 11:00am in Grace Community 155 Pump Branch Road, Waterford Works, NJ 08089, where a viewing will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am. Burial will be held at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, 109 Route 50, Mays Landing, NJ 08319. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace Community Church.
