Obituary of Roberta J. "Bert" Capella

Roberta J. "Bert" Capella, 84, (nee Prince) of Mullica Township passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Born in Mullica she spent her entire life in Atlantic County. Bert worked for 16 years at the Ideal Diner, and spent 26 years as a bus driver, 16 of those years at Oakcrest High School and 10 years at Ryder Bus Company in Cologne. She was predeceased by her husband Peter A. Capella, Sr., her parents, Robert J. and Florence Prince, her granddaughter, Mary, her son in law Anthony Migliacco; her brothers, William, Robert, Thomas, Joe, Dave; her sisters, Sally Robertson, Mary Mickey and Florence Ritter. Bert is survived by her children, Kathleen Migliacco of Egg Harbor; Walter R. Capella and his wife Penny of Mullica; Peter A. Capella, Jr and his wife Theresa of Galloway, Susan Headdy and her husband Jim of Egg Harbor Township, Francisco Capella and his wife Susan of Green Bank; Margaret "Marta" Butterholf of Atlantic City; her sisters, Leah Jones; Millie Goss and her husband, Bubba; her brother, Daniel Prince, her brothers in law, Charlie Mickey; Stan Ritter; her sisters in law, Judy Prince, Debbie Prince and Carol Prince all of Texas; her grandchildren, Devon, Amy, Cody, Peter III, Kyle, Craig, Ian, Jimmy III, Anthony, Francesca, Charles, Tina, Tammy, Lisa, Valerie and Junior and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 2, 2018, 11:00 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00am. Burial will follow in Egg Harbor City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
