Obituary of Edward J. Naulty

Edward J. Naulty, 62, of Vineland passed away at home on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA to Anna May and Ed Naulty. He lived in West Oak Lane until 12 years of age when he moved to Medford Lakes, NJ with his parents and sister Doreen, brother Brian and baby sister Terry Ann. While in school he delivered the Philadelphia Bulletin after school. At age 16 he worked for ACME Market in Medford, NJ. After high school he went in the Army and served in Germany, where he adopted his first dog Lila. After serving in the Army he returned to work at ACME Market, then worked at EDY'S Ice Cream. He then went to work for Bottino's family owned Shop Rite, where he worked in Upper Deerfield, Vineland and Millville. He enjoyed fishing, target shooting, skiing and four wheeling in his adored Jeep with his son Eddie Jr., cooking out, canoeing, working in the yard, spending time in his pool, and playing ball with his dog Lola. He is survived by one son Edward J. Naulty Jr., his adopted daughter Lizzie McRae and her daughter Amanda, his parents Edward J. and Anna May Naulty, two sisters Doreen English and Terry A. Wille, one brother Brian J. Naulty (Sheryl) and many nieces and nephews. His family wants to thank the employees of Shop Rite who on his last days gave him love and respect. His family is blessed with the memory of Ed. A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish St. Isidore the Farmer Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM. Burial will be private at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton. in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org.
