Obituary of Matilde Lucy Padro

Matilde Lucy Padro (nee Soto), 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico she lived in Wharton Park for 43 years. She worked for Anna Bertino's Clothing Shop and Castleford as a seamstress and machine operator. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and was loved by many. Mrs. Padro was recently predeceased by her husband of 32 years Angel L. Padro. She is survived by her children, Adriel Gonzalez, Sr. (Diana Luciano); Orlando Gonzalez, Anabel Gonzalez; her beloved grandkids, Adriel Jr., Eric, Kaylee, Selena, Alanis, Orlando, Jr., Justin; Isaiah; her six brothers, Angel Luis Soto, Juan Soto, Chelo Soto, Miguel Soto, Jose Soto, Luis Gustavo Soto; her three sisters, Irma Sonia Soto, Ada Delgado; Carmen Velez; her beloved niece and nephew who were her caregivers, Ramona and Luis Diaz. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish, 226 French St., Hammonton, NJ 08037 for their food pantry.
