Obituary of Edward D. Kasuba

Edward D. Kasuba, 74, of Millville passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township. Born in Berwyn, IL he formerly resided in Winslow Township before moving to Millville. Mr. Kasuba was the South Jersey Bureau Chief for KYW News Radio in Philadelphia, he then went on to work as Director of Corporate Communications for the Delaware River Port Authority. He also formerly worked as an adjunct professor for Glassboro State College and then Rowan University. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and season ticket holder, he enjoyed playing cards, going to the casinos, horse racing and playing the accordion. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 7774, where he served as Grand Knight, member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1778, the Millville Kiwanis Club, and the Four Seasons at Millville Board, where he was liaison of the clubhouse committee, He was also a volunteer at the Levoy Theatre.
Ed was predeceased by his wife, Donna Lee Kasuba. He is survived by his daughters, Katherine Fucetola (Rocco) and Kristine Smith (Chris), his fiancee, Mary Haskell, one brother. Michael Kasuba (Gail), six grandchildren, Rocco, Claira, Gabriel, Jazmine, Jordan, and Izaya, brother in law, Brian Brown (Laurel), and sister in law, Inez Kelleher (Peter).
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Christ the Redeemer Parish Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive, Atco, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 250 S. Route 73, Cedar Brook, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ the Redeemer Parish, 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive, Atco, NJ 08004 and to the Knights of Columbus Council 1778, 411 Cedar Street, Millville, NJ 08332
