Shirley will be missed but never forgotten, she will always remain a proud member of the Hammonton High School Class of '65. She always had a smile on her face and we are happy that she was able to attend our last class get together in March. Rest in heavenly peace Shirley.

While I lived in Collings lakes we were good friends. We would have some great conversations. We lost touch when I moved. But she was a great person who left a lasting impression in your heart. Always pleasant and putting a smile on your face. She will be greatly missed by all. Lynn Tobin Thompson

My beautiful sister, the one who would holler out to mom” Mom, she’s doing it again. Tell her to stop.” (My singing irritated you when I was little). We have walked through a lot together. I will miss your little expressions like, “ I’d like to punch them in the head or I’d like to punch the in the face or your newest one, I’d like to throat punch them.” Big bark but as gentle as a lamb.
I knew you had left for I was filled with a sense of celebration and joy. I “saw” you dancing in a field of flowers with a tutu on. Rejoice my sweet sister and welcome into the joy of the Lord! Say hello to mom and dad, Dee and Tony for me. This is not goodbye, it’s see you later. Love, your little sister Patty

She is the first person I can remember outside of my grandmother that did my hair and she gave me my first eyebrow wax. She even did my hair for prom. Shirley was one of the main reasons I wanted to become a cosmetologist and she supported me every step of the way, even when I doubted myself. I love her dearly and she will always hold a special place in my heart.

Shirley and I have shared many laughs and she has left me with many memories. She will live forever in my heart. Seeing Tony and Shirley together over the years showed me what true love really is. They will both be missed and I know she is happy to be back with him. Rest in Peace My Friend until we meet again.

Shirley and I have been good friends since the 1980s when I moved in across the street from her and Tony. She was always there for me as I was for her. We spent many holidays together. We would also just hang out together. We took a crazy girls trip to the Poconos and had so many laughs.
She recently gave me an angel pendant and told me to keep it close to my heart. That is where it has been since I received it.
I will miss you my dear friend. Rest in peace.

Aunt Shirley, since the first day I met you as a 17 year old while dating PJ, you made me feel welcome as part of the family. Over the years after PJ and I parted ways, you and Uncle Tony still let me know that I was your niece. That was so important to me. You supported me in my marriage and as I raised my daughters. I coached Alyssa in softball in softball and continued the family tradition. You have been in my life so long and now that you are gone, you have taken a piece of me with you. I love you and I’ll see you and Uncle Tony in heaven when it is my time. Kisses to you both. ❌⭕️ Sandi

When Shirley and I were just young children (grammer school age), we were playing in the driveway. Shirley got the idea to jump off the roof of Aunt Alice's car. She jumped off and landed with her knees under her chin. Unknown to me, she bit off a piece of her tongue. When I said to her Shirley are you all right? She looked at me and said "AHH, AHH,OH OH OH and pointed to her mouth. I ran in the house and told Aunt Alice SHIRLEY BIT OFF HER TONGUE. Aunt Alice ran out we got her into the house and off to the doctor. I reminded Shirley of this now funny incident three days before her death and she laughed and said I still have that scar.
