Lillian was my mother in law and the kindest person I have ever known. I miss her so much!

Our entire family enjoyed Aunt Lillian with lots of memories for each of us to share with each other. I remember her always being in a good mood. My Mom (Carolyn Grasso (Nutter) always had a compliment about her and Uncle Sal. As we watch the number of the original Grasso family and extended family decline, it's very sad. Glad that we still have fond memories of Aunt Lillian and how much she loved our GrandPop, Gaetano and her other siblings. Aunt Lillian will be sincerely missed but always loved. Our hearts go out to Jane and the rest of her family - David Nutter

The Colasurdo’s and Grasso’s of Elm lost a true family treasure this past Friday.Aunt Lillian was a family favorite to all of her nieces and nephews and I have nothing but the fondest on memories of her warm smiles and quick wit for a humorous story. Her face was my first recollection of my connection to my Grasso heritage. I remember her teaching me so many things like the Italian words for peppers(Pepe) eggplant (mulignana) tomatoes (pomodoro). She often reminded me of how thrilled my grandfather Rafaele Grasso was when he heard me repeat the words in Italian. I spent many hours at grandma and grandpa’s house in my formative years and aunt Lillian was always there. By the time I was 4 years old, she had taught me all the words to a 1943 song by Vera Lynn “You’ll Never Know “. I remember all the words till this very day. Sleep well my dear aunt Lillian. We’ll meet again on the other side in God’s earthly Kingdom. Anthony and Carol Milazzo

Lillian was one of the kindest souls I've ever met. I remember so many sleepovers where she would unexpectedly show up with a tray of snacks, a bedtime beverage, or just peek in to smile. And smile she did. Her smile would take your troubles away. She loved her children fiercely. Being married to the love of her life, she taught others how to love by example. RIP dear cousin.
