Q: What will you miss most about Joan?
A: That infectious smile. She was such a caring individual. She loved her grandchildren and talked about them always. Sammy was the best thing that ever happened to her. Going to miss my schoolmate. Assumption School then Edgewood but Joan went to St. Joe's. Bless you and prayers will be said continuously for you and your family. Barbara Amoriello Sterling.

We are so sad for the whole family. Joanie was such a special friend, like an older sister to me. We met in 1974 and have been great friends ever since. She had a beautiful bubbly personality and always made me laugh. We had so many fun vacations together. She was a devoted friend, mother and grandmother. Great cook! We will all miss her delicious Italian wedding soup!!! God rest her soul in peace. She will always be remembered. We love you so much Joanie!

I met your mother at Acme in Williamstown. She took me under her wing. I always admire her and I look forward to when I came to work. She was just leaving and I was just starving. We bonded instantly that was in 1978 , I moved away and then many years later we connected she was still as beautiful then as she was in 1978 she will be so messed ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am so sad to hear of Mrs. Granato's passing. She was lovely in every way and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She made the BEST gravy and is a fond part of my high school memories, in her home, with Lori. May God be with Mr. Granato and family during these next few days.

Sincere condolences to the family. Joanie was a dear friend for many years. We met at Jenny Craig & helped support each other with our health & weight. I was always invited to spend Christmas Eve with Joanie & the family at Lori & Shawn’s house. Joanie & I spent many times visiting & shopping. Joanie & Sam just came to John & my Wedding just last year on April 29th. John & I are so sad. We will miss you Joanie.

I always looked forward to seeing Joan at family functions! It seems she has been a loving part of my family since I was a kid. She always had a warm hug and infectious smile. You knew how much she truly cared for you when she did. Joan always had kind words and always made you feel good about yourself. I will always have very fond memories of you Joan. My brother Shawn, Lori, Tyler, Jason and Sammy will be in my thoughts and prayers as you keep a good eye on them from heaven. You will be an inspiration to me as a great mother, wife, grandmother and friend. God Bless you Joan and RIP.
