Marie A. "Dilly" Ruberton, (nee Ordille) 82 of Hammonton passed away peacefully at home on Friday July 16, 2010. Born in Atlantic City she was a Hammonton resident for fifty six years, moving here after her marriage in 1954 to J. Richard Ruberton. She was a graduate of Pleasantville High School and a graduate of Georgian Court with a degree in Business Administration.. She was employed for seventeen years as a teacher at St. Joseph's Elementary School. She founded and coached the first softball team at St. Joseph's High School. She was also employed at Harrah's Casino in Atlantic City for fifteen years where her mathematical expertise was highly valued. She was a volunteer for the Juvenile Conference Committee of the Atlantic County Superior Court for many years. Dilly had many interests. She was an avid sports enthusiast and Phillies fan. She loved to cook and entertain for family and friends and was a wonderful hostess. Dilly enjoyed playing cards, walking daily with friends, frequenting restaurants and watching all kinds of sporting events. She had a love for dogs. Dilly had many friends because she was a "friend" to everyone. She defined the word "friend" in every aspect assisting everyone and everyone she knew. Dilly was also an active participant in many groups and club activities during her lifetime. Dilly's primary love was her family. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Ruberton Sr, and two brothers, Louis and Henry Ordille. She is survived by her devoted son, Rick Ruberton and his wife Linda, her precious granddaughter, Briana Marie Ruberton all of Hammonton, two brothers, John Ordille of Northfield and Matteo Ordille of Atlantic City, one sister, Anne Jannetty of Absecon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11:00 AM in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, at St. Martin DePorres R.C. Church, 129 Park Avenue in Hammonton, where a visitation will be held after 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton. Donations may be made to St. Joseph Wildcatters, P.O.
